A Company Secretary manages the processes, systems and procedures designed to ensure an organisation's compliance with the various pieces of company legislation and regulation to which they are bound by law.

In addition, company secretarial jobs support the board and committees of organisations, arrange and administer meetings, while keeping board members informed of their legal responsibilities.

In publicly listed companies, it often falls to the Company Secretary to maintain relationships with shareholder registrars and the providers of share schemes and incentive plans.
