Controls Jobs
Controls jobs provide controls support to ensure the installed services controlled by the BMS operate at their most effective.
Duties are wide ranging, from the operation and maintenance of the BMS system(s) and assisting plant designers and operators with development of control strategies through to documenting installations/ modifications and ensuring all maintenance services for the BMS control are scheduled and undertaken in accordance to the agreed programme.
Responsibilities of controls engineer jobs
The remit for controls engineer jobs also encompasses:
- Ensuring all critical alarms are recorded within the BMS controls
- Assisting operations engineers with fault finding
- Selecting, specifying and procuring controls hardware
- Supporting BMS specialist subcontractors when on site.
Candidates would normally come from an engineering/HVAC background and experience as a BMS control engineer with primary plants and systems is normally required. You must be organised, have good communication skills and produce clear written records including drawings. Experience of the respective BMS (TREND 963 primarily) systems installed within the Cluster is a major plus.
