Aneesha Moreira, the current Director of Fundraising, shares a vision with her colleagues that the BHF can position itself as one of the most innovative and successful charities in the UK.  Aneesha has been with the charity since 2002 and prior to this held senior roles at Scope and Help the Aged. She held various posts in the hugely commercial and competitive travel sector and it is this mix of knowledge and experience that makes working with her on this vision so exciting. 

To meet this vision, the BHF is looking to take a step change in terms of all its fundraising and marketing activity.  Competition is constantly an issue that needs addressing and it is the belief of Aneesha that BHF can be, and should be, at the forefront of technical expertise in these functions.

In order to capitalise on this vision, three new roles are being recruited for:
Head of Volunteer Fundraising – essentially a Head of Community Fundraising; and two project director roles;
Project Director – Supporter Acquisition;
Project Director – Customer Relationship Management (Supporter Journey).

The BHF potentially touches every single one of us and, from a marketing and fundraising point of view, this represents a fantastic and fascinating challenge.
