Welcome

Welcome to the Cardinal Wiseman site and thank you for showing an interest in working in our school. We are a truly comprehensive school of 1370 pupils aged 11-18, situated in the north-east of Coventry. Christian values underpin all that we do.

We are proud of our school and the fact that we are the only school in the country currently that is a Language College with Rural Dimension. Not only will you find farm animals on our city site but we have links with India and Malawi. The Ofsted inspection in January 2008 recognised that we are a rapidly improving school that is going places. Ofsted commented:

A parent’s response to the questionnaire reflects the view of many. “I feel my son is receiving a varied and interesting education, but is also gaining in confidence because of the ethos of the school”.

As a member of staff at Cardinal Wiseman you will be supported as you settle in to your new role whether you are a newly qualified teacher, a middle manager or a member of the support team. There are good progression routes within school for all staff with good opportunities for training and development.
