Once upon a time...is the beginning of all good stories. Ours began in 1958, with the idea to manufacture and build individually constructed panels.

In every building, there are many incoming cables, wires, electrical components, etc. All this is better assembled in one place, in an enclosure - the electrical switchboard.

In 1958, the switchboard enclosures were still welded together, before the mounting of electrical equipment. For the panel builders, this meant a long delivery time, and large investments in cutting - and bending machines, painting facilities, etc.

The Logstrup idea was to manufacture a construction system that the panel builder could transport at low cost, stock in a minimum space and assemble fast and easy as switchboards of any size.

When the Logstrup modular system was ready, it represented the conclusion of a long development process of a radically new idea, which was held to be unique.

We have not kept to traditional ideas, nor previous constructions, neither have we fallen back on existing production equipment.

The original idea has been developed into an integral construction system - to a theme with limitless variations - adapting to widely different markets. The Logstrup modular system had fulfilled our goal.

There is a never-ending flow of new ideas to improve and simplify the Logstrup modular system, maintaining our position as a leading, creative company.
