Nick read Law at Bristol University. He trained at Trowers & Hamlins and moved to Slaughter & May on qualification in 1997. Nick joined Hays Legal in 1998 and specialises in recruiting lawyers for clients in the commerce and industry sector across London and the South East.

Debbie read law at the University of Kent and qualified as a solicitor in 1994. After 18 months as a corporate lawyer (at Manches and then Olswang ) she joined Hays Legal's in house team in 1998 and for six years recruited lawyers at all levels across commerce and industry. After a short time out of the business setting up the legal division of a search and selection company, she returned to Hays Legal in an operational role. After almost three years, she has returned to a recruitment desk and focuses once again on the recruitment of lawyers at all levels into in house roles in commerce and industry.

Gita graduated from the University of Leicester where she read Law and then went onto study the LPC at Chester. After having worked in the commercial litigation departments of Lovells and Berwin Leighton Paisner, she joined Hays Legal at the beginning of 2001. Gita initially developed our company secretarial division and since 2003 has focused on the in-house market, recruiting lawyers for the financial services sector including private equity, hedge funds and asset management businesses across the London market.

Philippa is a Senior Consultant in the In-House Division. She specialises in placing lawyers at all levels into a wide range of corporates within Commerce & Industry. Philippa read Modern Languages at Oxford University and trained as a solicitor with Lovells, where she worked as a Corporate lawyer for 2 years before joining Hays Legal in 2001. Philippa relocated to Spain in 2003 and set up Hays Legal in Madrid, recruiting lawyers for a range of law firms and corporates. She moved back to the London office in 2006.

Emma read Law at the University of East Anglia and University of British Columbia, Canada. She trained and qualified at DLA Piper and in 2003 joined the Commercial Litigation department specialising in IT and Telecoms disputes. Emma joined Hays Legal In-house Division in 2007 and recruits lawyers for clients in the commerce and industry sector across London and the South East.

Kelly read Law at Leeds University before completing her LPC at Nottingham Law School. She qualified in 2001 and practised as a commercial litigation solicitor with IBB in the South East and subsequently Memery Crystal in the City, before joining Hays Legal in early 2005. Kelly has spent time recruiting in the London law firm market as well as managing the South East team and now focuses on recruiting qualified lawyers at all levels for roles in-house and with law firms in the Home Counties and East Anglia.

Anna read English at Exeter University before spending two years at Nottingham Law School. Anna trained with Norton Rose before spending time working at Watson Farley and subsequently moving out of London to join Rawlison Butler in Crawley. Since joining Hays Legal in 2007, Anna has specialised in recruiting lawyers in the South East. She recruits qualified lawyers at all levels for roles in-house and private practice.

After finishing his academic studies, Craig moved into the Human Resources department of an International plc as a national Recruitment Officer, covering a range of roles in different disciplines. After joining Michael Page Legal in 2001, he progressed through their ranks to Regional Manager for the Midlands, having covered both Permanent and Interim markets across Industry & Commerce, Private Practice and the Public/Not for profit sectors. He joined Hays Legal in 2006.Craig recruits permanent staff for the In-house market covering the Midlands, South West and North West regions. He focuses on the placement of lawyers at all levels right the way up to Head/Director of Legal.

Alex joined Hays in 1994 working for the Accountancy and Finance division. Over the course of the last 13 years as a Regional Director, has been involved in leading large teams, building relationships with senior clients.
