It's a Hat-trick for Hays

A team of recruitment consultants from Hays Property & Surveying stormed to victory at the Property Cup final last week. Adam Cordery, senior manager, at Hays Property & Surveying which has an office on Kymberley Road in Harrow, was part of the team that claimed a 4–0 victory.

The competition raises money for the construction industry charity, the Lighthouse club, and each year raises in excess of £10,000 as part of a series of football events. Twenty teams took part in this year’s knock out tournament which has been co-sponsored by Hays Property & Surveying and Estates Gazette, the commercial property industry magazine, for the past 10 years. Opponents, Cushman & Wakefield, appeared in the final for the second time and it promised to be a close encounter from the start. The first half was evenly matched and remained goal less, but the Hays team managed to up their game in the second half and the match finished with an amazing 4-0 victory at Millwall FC’s ground, The New Den. 

Adam Cordery comments, ‘’Our impressive unbeaten run in the Hays Property Cup now dates back to 2005, after our third successive final triumph last week. It was a fantastic tournament this year, with an exciting and close final with a score line that ultimately flattered us. Not only is this event a lot of fun, it’s a great way of raising money for a worthwhile charity too.’’
